SOFT RAINS WILL COME is the second collaboration between G.W. Sok and Ignacio Córdoba, following their 2024 experimental collage album "Is This A House". This time, the pair rebuild their fragmented sound within a band - THIS HOUSE - alongside drummer Søren Høi and synthesist Kristian Tangvik, turning abstraction into something loud, rhythmic, and alive. At its core, the record treats rhythm as architecture. Every instrument acts as percussion, each with its own colour and instability, orbiting around Høi’s asymmetric drumming and Sok’s unmistakable voice. Córdoba’s production pushes his collage techniques toward a more physical tension: songs that are repetitive yet constantly shifting, cycling through breaks and build-ups until the sound itself begins to disintegrate. Guitars scrape, synths pulse, and voices fall into noise. The result is music both tight and unruly, dirty yet articulate.

All songs written by G.W. Sok and Ignacio Córdoba.

Released by Pink Cotton Candy Records (Denmark) in collaboration with Ramble Records (Australia) and Red Wig (Germany). Released in March 2026.

“Between associative sprechgesang vocals, angular riffs, polyrhythmic drumming, and dense electronics, This House can go toe-to-toe with legendary acts like This Heat and Deerhoof without raising any objections" (Everything is Noise, US)

"I am not gonna call it a super group but (...) I am super excited about this record" (Running Redlights, WPRB, US)

“Sharklike commitment to constant motion throughout the album makes This House hard to leave" (Media Magpies (USA)
